Key points to know when linking Triple Whale to Google Ads
If you would like to link your Triple Whale tracking with Lunio, one main point to remember is that Triple Whale’s tracking works at the campaign and ad group-level of Google Ads, meaning the following setting changes will need to be made at those levels.
When connecting your Google Ads account to Triple Whale, this will auto-generate and implement the Triple Whale tracking template at the account level and across all the associated campaigns and ad groups within your Google Ads account. The Triple Whale tracking template will be slightly different for each Google campaign and ad group.
Please keep in mind that the Triple Whale tracking template implemented at the Google Ads account level will be completely different to the tracking templates implemented at the campaign and ad group levels. We only want to be editing the tracking templates at the ad group level.
An example of the Triple Whale tracking template is shown below:

Navigating to the Google Ad Group Level Tracking Template
To get to the ad group level settings you will need to do the following:
Go to the Google Ads account that has been linked to Triple Whale
On the left-hand side, navigate to Ad Groups (under the campaigns dropdown)
Hover over an Ad Group in the table and click the gear icon that appears in the 'Ad Group' column.
This will display all the settings which are linked to that individual campaign. click on Additional Settings → Ad group URL options.
Updating your Triple Whale tracking in Google Ads
Now that you're in “Ad group URL options”, you should see the Triple Whale tracking template as shown in the screenshot below.
You will need to remove {lpurl}? from the tracking template and then copy/paste this into the fFnal URL suffix below.
Implementing the Lunio Tracking Template
Go to the Lunio Settings (gear icon in the top right navigation bar) and navigate to Integrations > Tracking Codes.
Copy the tracking template under Google Tracking Template.
Next, navigate back to your Google Ad Group URL options.
Implement this tracking template above the Triple Whale one as shown in the screenshot below.

You will need to do this entire process for each ad group.
