Switching between different accounts from one login in Lunio

What is it?

If you manage more than one Lunio account, you can now switch between them without logging out and back in again.

The account switcher lives in your user profile inside the Lunio dashboard. It lists every Lunio account linked to your email address, so you can move between them in a couple of clicks.

This doesn't change how you log in as you'll still sign in to Lunio the same way you do today. The switcher simply gives you a faster way to move between accounts once you're in.

Who is this for?

  • Agencies managing multiple client accounts.

  • Brands or organisations with more than one Lunio account (e.g. regional or brand-specific accounts).

  • Anyone who currently has to log out and back in to move between Lunio accounts.

If you only ever access a single Lunio account, nothing changes for you. You can still log in and use Lunio exactly as before.

How it works

  1. Log in to Lunio as normal

  2. Open your user profile (top right of the dashboard)

  3. You'll see the account switcher, listing every Lunio account linked to your email address.

  4. Select the account you want to work in, and then you'll be taken straight to that account's dashboard.

  5. To switch again, just open your user profile and pick another account. No need to sign out.

How accounts get linked

The account switcher works by matching your email address across accounts. If the exact same email address is set up on multiple Lunio accounts, all of those accounts will automatically appear in your switcher.

If an account you expect to see is missing from your switcher, it usually means the email address on that account doesn't exactly match the one you're logged in with. Even a small difference (a typo, a different domain, or a "+" alias, for example) will be treated as a separate email and won't be linked automatically.

To fix this, the email address on the missing account needs to be updated to match the one you use to log in.

FAQs

Do I need a separate password for each account?

No, logging in works exactly as it does today. The account switcher just gives you quick access to other accounts linked to your email, without a separate login.

What if I only have access to one account?

Nothing changes as you'll log in and use Lunio as normal, without seeing a switcher.

Why isn't an account showing up in my switcher?

This almost always comes down to email matching. The account switcher only links accounts that share the exact same email address. If one of your accounts uses a slightly different email, it won't appear automatically.
