Installing Lunio Tracking for SA360 Users [Guide]
Updated over a week ago

This video guide uses a version of Lunio with older settings pages. The content is still appropriate but for details on where to find the relevant settings within Lunio it's worth reading this guide first - Introduction to System Overview and Settings

This article includes a detailed guide on how to set up Lunio tracking for a search engine account in SA360, follow the step-by-step instructions to ensure a smooth setup process.

  1. Begin by launching SA360 and navigating to the relevant engine account that you intend to add your tracking, using the navigation bar at the top of the page.

  2. Within SA360, find your existing tracking template, typically this is situated at the account level. Access this through Settings (located in the left-hand menu) → Account Settings → Tracking. Look for a tracking template commencing with 'https://ad.doubleclick.net/', and ending with {unescapedlpurl}.

  3. Inside Lunio’s dashboard, locate your Lunio tracking template by navigating to System Overview → Platforms → Tracking Code.

  4. Untick the 'Encode final URLs?' setting. You will see the template change, to a version ending with {unescapedlpurl}. You can then copy the script.

  5. Replace your existing SA360 tracking code with the Lunio tracking code and hit 'save'. If you refresh your page, you will find that SA360 has automatically added the required SA360 elements to the beginning of the template.
