Brand Bidding lets you monitor who is bidding on your brand keywords in search results, giving you visibility into competitor activity and helping you identify any partners that may be violating your programme's terms and conditions.
This guide walks you through how to configure your keywords so monitoring can begin.
Before You Begin
You must be the account admin or owner to configure keywords.
Make sure Brand Bidding is enabled on your account. If you don't see it in your dashboard, contact your customer success manager to get it activated.
This is for Google Search only.
Step 1: Add a Keyword
Navigate to Settings > Brand Bidding in your dashboard.
Click Add Keyword to open the keyword configuration.
You'll need to provide:
Keyword: the brand term you want to monitor e.g. Lunio
Location: the city, area, or country to monitor e.g. London, United Kingdom
Scan Frequency: how often you want Lunio to check - hourly, daily, or weekly
Tip: If your brand operates across multiple regions, consider adding a separate keyword entry for each location you want to cover.
Step 3: Save and Start Monitoring
Once you've filled in the details, save your keyword. The system will begin scanning search results based on your chosen frequency and list any advertisers bidding on your brand keywords.
What Happens Next?
After your keywords are configured, you can head to the Brand Bidding to see a live snapshot of detected advertisers. Read more about what you can do with Brand Bidding to:
See which advertisers are bidding on your brand keywords
Review the ads they are running
Inspect tracking URLs to check for unauthorised activity
If you have any questions on the setup, please reach out to your CSM or send us a message at [email protected]. We're here to help! π
